SECTION I - RETURNS
SummerHaus offers an easy, 30-day money-back guarantee on all defective or damaged products. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase or your products are neither defective nor damaged upon delivery, we will unfortunately not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as you received it and in its original packaging.
To further clarify, products showing obvious signs of use, or any item which is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons outside of our or the manufacturer's control, will not be covered by this policy.
SECTION II - REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
SECTION III - LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please check your bank account again then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SECTION IV - SALE ITEMS
Sale items are covered by this policy, only in cases where said items are defective or damaged upon delivery without fault of the customer. However, due to the temporary nature of sales, we do not offer any guarantees as to our ability to replace a sale item for an identical item, in which case the customer will be issued a code redeemable for the value of the purchased item, applicable to the item of the customer's choice, as long as said replacement is currently in stock and available for purchase on Summerhaus.
SECTION V - EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery and without fault of the customer. Any damage incurred by the customer, due to normal or abnormal use, will not be covered by this policy. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com so we can process your request. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
SECTION VI - GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
